Code Combat
When you are finished with your task for the day, you are free to play Code Combat. This is a game that teaches you how to code using the language Python. Python is a syntax language, which means it uses words as a means of writing code. Lego EV3 (Labview) and VEX IQ (RobotC) use graphical languages to write code. However, the basics of coding are the same for all languages. To access Code Combat you will need to create an account:

Day 1 and 2: Go to Learning Styles Quiz and take the 20 question quiz. Once you are done you will be able to see your learning style auditory, visual, or tactile (It is possible to get a combination of learning styles). Raise your hand and show Mr. Merrill your results. Afterwards, record your results in your planner.
Next, go to Personality Quiz and take the quiz. This quiz will take some time to complete, but I think you will enjoy seeing the results. There will be several questions that you may be difficult to understand. If that happens, just raise your hand and ask Mr. Merrill. Once you are done you will see your personality type and a description of your personality. You will also see some other information that you might find interesting on this page. Raise your hand and show Mr. Merrill your results. Afterwards, record your results on in your planner. If you didn't finish your learning styles quiz from yesterday., go ahead and complete that. Once you are finished, you can go to Code Combat for the rest of the period.
